Renovation and Extension
The existing home is a single story sixties cream brick home with tiled roof. The scope of the project was to upgrade with a rear addition and major changes to the interior. The new rear extension contains a new master bedroom with ensuite plus new bathroom, toilet & laundry. The Colourbond roof is at a 5 deg cut into existing main roof and a new rear verandah has a flat roof and timber decking.
The Renovation work consists of swapping the dining and kitchen areas, creating a new family area in the location of old bathroom & laundry and upgrading a bedroom by extending the wall to the line of a new passage way which was previously a toilet.
A new internal doorway will connect the garage to the kitchen/dining area and a new skylight will bring light into the passageway. There is also a minor upgrade to the porch under the roof line by boxing in an existing column.
